SPECULATION has been mounting that British Welterweight champion Bradley ‘Super’ Skeete, who is sponsored by London PHV Operator The Keen Group, is on the verge of signing a deal that will see him challenge WBO World Champion Jeff Horn.

Horn, the former school teacher who sensationally defeated the legendary Manny Pacquiao to lift the title back in July this year, had been hoping to face the 11-time world champion in a rematch, but the Filipino is unable to oblige due to his commitments as a senator in his homeland.

With a date of 25th November pencilled in for a bout in Brisbane, Horn’s representatives have been looking at alternative opponents to share the ring with the champion. And, as the 3rd ranked Welterweight in the WBO rankings and also its European belt holder, Penge-native Skeete is in with a shout of fulfilling the vacancy.

Keith Keen, managing director of The Keen Group, told PHC:We believe there is a possibility of a fight taking place out in Australia in November. Bradley has been a true professional throughout his career and has earned his shot. We hope it happens.
