DETECTIVES HAVE issued a fresh appeal after a female suffered a broken leg following an argument with a group of women in Ilford.

The 30 year old was waiting with her boyfriend outside a sports bar in East London when an argument broke out with a group of women nearby who were also looking for a cab. A fight began and both the woman and her boyfriend were injured. She suffered a broken leg, bruising to her thigh, finger and arm and was taken to hospital for treatment.

Detective constable Jonathan Lam of East Area Command said: “As the victim waited patiently for her taxi, she was attacked by a boisterous crowd, intent on taking the taxi as soon as it pulled up outside the sports bar. I would appeal to anyone who recognises this woman to contact us.”
