SOUTH CAROLINA Limos of Myrtle Beach boss Lee Webb is offering a free stretch limousine ride and complimentary dinner for two to an engaged male couple who were thrown out of an Uber vehicle.
The pair had exchanged a kiss while in the car in Houston on New Year’s Eve and the luxury limo owner has since tried to contact the two men through Facebook.
We need to show the world that professional transportation people provide something way above and beyond the rudeness of Uber. I’m doing this for two reasons. What the Uber driver did was plain wrong, plus I just want to stop Uber.
Mr Webb now wants other limousine operators to, ‘step up to the plate’ to show that the luxury vehicle trade in South Carolina is service-orientated and tolerant to all sections of the LGBT community.
The Limos of Myrtle Beach boss added: “Every time Uber makes a mistake we should counteract with upbeat solutions. Time and time again when I’m out in the field working, I say that I don’t just sell limo rides, I sell service. Anyone can have a car and drive one, but not everyone can meet the service level of a luxury limousine company.”
