THREE MEN who ran a £1 million lucrative cocaine-dealing ring – using couriers disguised as taxi drivers learning ‘The Knowledge’ – will only have to pay back £36,000.

The Old Bailey heard that Joseph Maloney (34), Jay Tripp (35), and Danny Ward (35) ran a network of clients who were promised a drug delivery time of less than an hour anywhere in London and were told to pay back £26,346, Tripp £4,430 and £5,625 respectively.

The men had already received prison sentences in December 2016. Tripp of Fyfield in Essex, was jailed for 16 and a half years, Maloney from Shoreditch was imprisoned for 25 years and Ward, from Beckenham, got eight years.
