ONE OF NORTH East England’s oldest and largest taxi companies has launched a new app to help customers book and trace the location of their vehicle.
A spokesman for Pratts Taxis in Durham said that customers can now book a journey – using either an iPhone or Android mobile device – without having to speak to an operator.
The Pratts spokesman added:
Using the app, any time of day or night, customers can book a journey and prepay in advance by credit or debit card, as well being able to track their taxi in real time. There is also an option to request different types of vehicle.
Pratts Taxis was launched in Durham in 1947 and is now part of the Phoenix Taxis group and now has over 250 vehicles on the road throughout the North East region.
