A CHAUFFEUR who collapsed in a street in the Hillingdon village of Longford, north west of Heathrow Airport, had been scheduled to pick up a passenger arriving by plane.
Paul Facer’s wife alerted the police when he didn’t make the pick-up and the emergency services attended the scene in Bays Farm Court, close to the airport perimeter fence.
Paramedics tried in vain to keep Mr Facer alive but the Hampshire chauffeur was pronounced dead 30 minutes after they first attended.
A police spokesman said: “There are no suspicious circumstances. The West London coroner’s office has begun its investigation into the death of Mr Facer and his next of kin have been informed.”
Mr Facer, whose age has not been confirmed, was believed to be in his 60s and worked for an executive chauffeur company in Wellington, Hampshire.
