A DELIVERY driver has been found guilty of physically abusing two elderly women while delivering their medical supplies.
John Muttitt (79) of Brentford was found guilty of two counts of sexual assault. Both his victims were over the age of 85.
Muttitt was a self-employed delivery driver for a local pharmacy and delivered medication to disabled and vulnerable patients in the Hounslow and Isleworth area. One of his victims, who suffers from Cerebral Palsy and Parkinson’s and has mobility issues, reported Muttitt for touching her inappropriately. Further victims came to light after his arrest.
PC Ben Lawrence-Smith, from Hounslow Community Safety Unit said: “Muttitt took advantage of the fact that these victims were elderly, vulnerable, and often living alone. Due to having mobility issues the victims used a pharmacy delivery service as a way of obtaining their medication without difficulty and Muttitt abused his position of trust.”
