ADDISON LEE has announced it is launching a global digital service that it claims will allow customers to book car-hire journeys in over 100 cities from around the world.
The Camden-based private hire company – owned by the American equity Carlyle group – will also be investing £65 million in new vehicles for its operations in London and New York.
Through the Addison Lee app and website, corporate customers can now book cars across the globe, including Paris, Berlin, Beijing and Johannesburg. Premium service levels are guaranteed through our affiliate network of 5,000 partners.
The company claims that booking international cars through its app will be similar in experience to that when ordering a vehicle in New York and London and will allow customers to use Apple Maps and Google Maps to show their location and plan their journey.
Commenting on the £65m investment in new vehicles, a spokesman for Addison Lee added: “We will leasing from a range of brands, including Ford, Mercedes and Cadillac and plan to be ready to roll out electric vehicles when there is better infrastructure in place.”
